My top five Final Fantasy games. (order is not based on rank just the five that i like best)

             

 1. Final Fantasy VII: it has one of the best stories of all time, the graphics are awesome( for a psx game) and the materia system added good customization options.                           

 2. Final Fantasy VIII: Squall`s gunblade attacks that require you to press R1 give you the feel that you are actually important to the battle, the Junction system that lets players join with the Guardian Forces was ok, Laguna`s seperate storyline, and the tetra master card game. But the fact that the characters where actually in proportion to their surroundings set it apart from other earlier rpgs.

3. Final Fantasy Tactics: One of the best strategy games with deep customization and powerful job classes. Plus the fact that it has CLOUD!!!!!

4. Final Fantasy X: Great stoyline, graphics and the fact that the have realtime expressions and voices. The sphere grid offers good character development and the fact that later in the game you can edit it to make characters even more powerful. But the fact that it is a PS2 turn based (no ATB gauge) game makes me lose some enthusiasim (spelling?) about it.

 

5. Final Fantasy XII: Gameplay is awesome, the graphics are stunning, and the whole offline MMORPG feel of it really makes it more enjoyable. Sadly the fact that Gil is hard to earn in this game and the gambits are not helpful during tough boss battles (maybe im not good at setting them yet.) get me kind of discouraged about this one.
