My first payment of $1.23 was certainly nothing to write home about. I pretty much forgot about Triond but I discovered that the content I had submitted wasn't languishing in the background. In fact, for each month thereafter, those first initial articles worked away earning me income. By June, I received a Triond payment of $9.64. While this still wasn't a whopping amount, I started to see the potential.

I came to another realization as to why writing for Triond was a good idea. While article earnings were relatively small for each article, the potential to earn more from each article over the longterm, over a one-time payment for that same article made sense. To illustrate this: some of my articles have earned me more than $30.00. When you create a page of work and your earnings for that page hit the $25.00-$30.00 mark, you see the potential
of a monthly revenue share opportunity such as Triond that nets you higher article earnings over time.
Most article mills or other outfits offer around $5.00 per article, which is really an insult to writers everywhere. I don't waste my time on them and neither should you. These ridiculous amounts certainly will not pay the bills. Why work for less than minimum wage?
