I have been married to a great guy for 11 years and have two awesome kids. I have an Elementary Education degree, but am currently a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, and family time.
After almost a year and learning to eat healthier and make better food choices, I have reached my weight loss goal. I have lost 53 pounds and feel fantastic! If I can do it, anyone can. I'm not just saying that - it is true. I did have help though from Weight Watchers. Accountability, great tips, I couldn't have lost all of my weight without Weight Watchers.
I have by no means "arrived" or achieved weight loss perfection.
Every day I am faced with a challenge: to keep the weight off and maintain my weight loss goal. I can be successful as long as I am constantly aware of what I am putting in my mouth.
Here are a few things that I have learned that will help me to stay at my goal weight.
1. Remind myself daily what I have achieved.
2. I must move more - i.e. exercise
3. I have to burn more calories that I consume.
4. Food is just that - food. It doesn't fill any other "need" in my life.
5. If I mess up, tomorrow is a new day.
