The continent of Africa never ceases to fascinate me. Things happen in Africa that can never be fathoamed on other lands. Ok, whenever people see any written work on Africa they expect to read about death, destruction and disaster. I am not going to talk about that now because this is not the right platform.

I am very fond of the city they call Gaborone. Its the capital of the southern African country of Botswana. The President is Lt.Gen. S.K.I Khama,a cool headed -if not the only cool headed-African Statesman.
In the outskirts of Gaborone there is a fairly modern village called Mogoditshane. It's got modern supermarkets, ATM's, a 5 star hotel, lodges and all sorts of modern facilities. Its more

like one of those nice places in Scotland.

Of all the fascinating things in Mogoditshane, one I particularly like is the presence of goats. You may think I am beginning to lose my marbles but hang on a little bit, these are no ordinary goats. These are clever goats, they know how to cross the road! I am serious about this. They know the difference between a red traffic light and a green one! They know that one false move can panctuate their demise. They have learnt to cross when their robot is green. I think the goverment of Botswana should invite Dr. Pepperberg from the University Of Arizona to come and study these clever goats! If you don't know Dr. Pepperberg (Google her) then you don't know Alex the clever African Grey parrot! Africa!
