Obviously, Biden wins the debate. I hate badly to admit it. Perhaps it's just his thirty something years in politics that makes him seem so much more refined at this. On foreign policy he chewed her up. When he recapped and corrected her statements about voting records he seemed genuine and she would not retort. She avoided too many questions and often it seemed as if her prepared information was weak. Other times it seemed as if she was parroting conservative talk radio. The truth is, however, that I still feel
like she is the most genuine person in either campaign. So should I trust McCain and her on the basis that maybe they're less "refined" but that their hearts are in the right place? Or the slicksters who seem to think they're smarter than everyone else. I guess I can see that their is no way that change isn't coming. I just don't think I am going to like the change either way.
I want a candidate who talks like Obama, knows foreign policy and Washington like Biden, has the guts of McCain and is as genuinely down to earth as Sarah Palin.
