I have said it to my family, I have said it to my friends, and my coworkers, and people I have met in the streets. Gasoline is a finite resource. It will run out. Just like the use of Sassafras trees for air fresheners, and the carrier pigeon for food, and sport, so too will our great petroleum resource become once again extinct.

It is hard to say, it is hard to imagine that such a great resource could ever run out. It will. Like all non-renewable resources, it will. I am not a geologist, nor a fortune-teller, but I do know that gasoline will run out. I don’t when it will run out, but it will run out.

We have seen the wells go dry in our own country, and we have seen many men become fabulously rich, and many others become devastatingly poor. We have exploited the resources of other lands, and sent their riches back to our own country to fuel our ever increasing desire for more fuel. More fuel means more electricity, and more power to fuel more stuff. More stuff means more power needed and more elecricity means more fuel, and less fuel left to burn. More is less.

I don’t want to be so naiive as to thik I’m gonna help solve the fuel problem, how can any one man suppose to make that happen? I’m just shedding a little light on a dwindling resource, and having some fun at the same time.
