People looking to speed up their PC can rest assured it can be done in 3 very simple steps. I know how frustrating it is to have a slow computer, to get computer errors, and just to have to wait on the computer for anything. So, I wanted to give you the 3 things I did to speed up my PC.

I ran the defragmenter

This is a free utility that comes with your Windows system. It is kind of slow, but it does the job. There are other free ones you can find online if you search hard enough. What this software does is put your files back together, instead of having them in different locations.

I put in the max amount of memory my computer would hold

With the cost of computer memory being where it is today, you should put the most memory you can in your computer. If you are not sure how much it holds, just do a search online with your model number and it will tell you how much memory you can use. This will have an immediate impact in the speed of your PC.

I Run a registry repair software weekly

The registry is a place where things can go wrong in a hurry. This is the command center for your computer, and contains all of the instructions on how your software and hardware should operate. If you mess up anything in here, your computer will be extremely slow.

Just the way Windows operates, you will get errors. This is why it is important to use a registry repair tool on a weekly basis to clean all of this up. This will ensure your computer will stay as fast as possible.

When used in combination, these things above definitely gave me my answer how to speed up my PC
