I love the summer, Halloween, animals, chocolate and music. That is the basis of knowing me. I also like to write and travel a little.
There is an interesting website that my sister found out about a while back and I just stumbled upon. It is brickfish.com and it is a great place for creative people to enter submissions in different categories. There are different campaigns that you can enter and submit photos, videos, or blogs for that topic. Then other people view and vote for the entries that they like, and after it is over the website or whoever is in charge of picking the winner is will take the top voted 100 entries and pick their favorite.
The winners can get cool prizes like $500, or a gas card. And you can make friends, and do other things that you can do on other websites like, oh I don't know, Myspace maybe?
So I am terrible competitive and since my little sister has entries up I joined and put up my own. We are both in the campaign Mysterious Mr. X's Circus of Strange. You find the strangest thing in your house and hope that other people agree on it. My sister has her firework vases on and they are about 25th out of 67.
I on the other hand have my 2 submissions at 47 and 48. I hate being beaten at contests, but especially to my little sister. Sibling rivalry and all.
Just in case anyone
wanted to vote for my entries, they are my collection of junk from my bookshelf and a dead rose. The bookshelf is strange because of the things I have on it. The small replicas of a ninja turtle, Edward Scissorhands, robot, Rafiki and so on are the main population. But the real strange things are the chicken bone, old railroad spike and dog box where the head comes off to open it, and two gargoyles.
My other one is a 3 year old dead rose. It is sprayed thoroughly with clear spray paint to keep it sort of petrified. It is still in perfect condition. It really means a lot to me too, because it is the first rose that my fiancee gave me years ago.
So if again anyone did want to vote for me because they are kind and don't want my sister beating me by so many places (its over 20), the website is www.brickish.com/tina_danielle.
And while we're on the subject, my Myspace is looking a bit shabby too. The only friends I have are mostly family and local bands. Just write you read my blog so that I know its not junk. I get a lot of wierd stuff asking to be friends with me, and most I ignore, like the playboy bunnies.
