My dog has a myspace

I love the summer, Halloween, animals, chocolate and music. That is the basis of knowing me. I also like to write and travel a little.
Yes, you heard that right. My dog has her own myspace. It is decked out in pink and yellow with clouds and hearts and all that girly stuff. Why? Well she is a large, slightly fat black dog whom many think upon meeting is a boy.
The myspace is a way to tell people about my dog before they actually meet her. She isn't a bad dog, but sometimes she needs a little explination first.
But how is it weird that my dog has a myspace when my neighbors dog has a myspace and he has more friends than I do. A dog? No really, that is so unfair.
I believe that Pete Wentz (from Fall Out Boy)'s dog, Hemmingway has his own page. Dogs are like little furry people. No, not really. But they are as much a part of the family as children are to many. They need to be treated fairly, at the least.
My dog has it made. Her life is simple, relaxing and quiet. She eats plenty and has cats and toys to play with as well as four human friends. My friends and neighbors love her.
But not all dogs are that lucky. I heard on the news last night or this morning that a bag filled with 8 puppies was left on train tracks in another state. Wisconson maybe?
Shelters are often full and occasionally may need to turn away those it cannot accomodate. That sounds horrible, but it is as hard for some dogs to find a good home as it is for children in third world countries.
Why would people buy a dog that costs hundreds of dollars when they could get a just as healthy, happier shelter dog for much less. They make great pets, and my dog would say thank you.
If you are trying to find my dogs myspace look for waggydear@yahoo.com and you can find her.
