I read an article earlier today about a diet created by Dr. Siegal known as the "cookie diet."
I thought the author was trying to pull my leg. I really did.
The doctor created a special weight loss cookie that, combined with an incredibly ridiculous and restrictive diet, is supposed to help you lose weight. I have news - anyone who eats only 800 calories per day is bound to lose weight - and gain a host of other health problems while they're at it!
Most
reviews I have read so far, thankfully, do not support the diet. It's up to you to choose what you will and will not eat. I do believe that some people need the aid of dietary supplements, but you must remember that there is no replacement for a healthy food intake combined with exercise.
If you aren't sure, spend your hard earned money on hiring a nutritionist instead of flushing it down the toilet on meal bars that leave you hungrier than if you had eaten, well - a meal!
