Skin tags are small, benign, flesh colored growths that appear all over a person's body. They typically occur in characteristic locations including the neck, underarms, eyelids, and under the breasts (especially where underwire bras rub directly beneath the breasts). Although skin tags may vary somewhat in appearance, they are usually smooth or slightly wrinkled and irregular, flesh-colored or slightly more brown, and hang from the skin by a small stalk.

Though skin tags can appear on seemingly healthy, average weight
people, they appear more frequently on overweight individuals. Generally, skin stags are a sign of insulin resistance. According to Medicine Net, " Insulin resistance is associated with obesity, fatty liver, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, skin tags, polycystic ovary disease, and growth abnormalities."

Skin tags can come and go without warning. In my experience, if you follow a diet rich in protein and complex carbohydrates, they'll simply disappear. By eliminating simple carbohydrates and sugar, you'll rarely be a victim of the annoying little things.
