She could make you laugh
So easily.
God, she freed you from yourself
Simply by scrunching up her nose
Sticking out her nose
Or making a dirty sound.
You know what I mean.
She had a spark in her eye
You thought that meant “fun,”
Or that she had a “carefree spirit” or
Any of those other shitty clichés, right?
No.
That spark was fire.
A torrent
A blazing inferno.
She burned coolly inside.
A cool burning backdraft
That ignited into
A Firestorm.
