I'm going for something "cute" here with this one ...
The Master of the House By Eric L. Moreno
The moving wall to the outside shuts and he is gone.
“Be good and watch the house,” he says.
He won’t be back till the sun goes down.
It’s going to be a long day.
I pick up my soft-squeaky and take it to the lay down spot.
The box with the outside on it is on for me.
I think I’ll see what they are doing today.
OOO, “Cheers” is on!
I’m thirsty.
Now I’ll lay back down … what’s that?
Oh, that guy with the loud noisemaker that plays in the grass is outside!
ARR! ARR!
ARROOOROOOROOO!
ARR! ARR!
ARROOOROOOROOO!
Hah! I showed him!
I’m hungry now.
Food. I love food.
Food is good. It’s crunchy on my tongue.
I itch now.
Ahh, that feels good.
OOO, now “The Jeffersons.”
I like them.
I’m thirsty again.
Boy, I’m tired.
It's going to be a long day.
I think I’ll take a nap.
Yawn.
