Hey all

So UFC 79 is now being advertised for December 29th in Mandalay Bay and its got two big fights on its list. The card is as follows

- Serra vs Hughes
Hughes is heavily favored to win, but I am hoping Serra pulls off another upset
- Chuck Liddel vs Wanderlei Silva
This fight has been years in the making, Dand white (President of UFC) has finally made it happen. No fighter is favored to win. My opinion is if Chuck Liddel fights like he did in his last match against Keith Jardine he's going to lose.
- Ryoto Machida vs Thierry Sokoudjou
Ryoto Is slightly favored to win, Though I can't recall seeing Thierry fight yet so this could be a good fight. Both fighters have something to prove and want to move up on the ufc food chain
-Rich Clementi vs Melvin Guillard
Melvin is favored, This will be a good fight as Melvin has been after Dana Whites attention for quite some
time for a title shot.
Manny Gamburyan vs Nate Mohr
Manny is heavily favored to win this fight, his UFC debut was impressive and he was winning his match until a should injury forced him to quit the match. If his injuries don't act up again he will be a contender in his weight class for sure.
Soa Palelei vs Eddie Sanchez
Pretty evenly matched, no favor here. Dunno much bout either fighter
Dean Lister vs Jordan Radev
Dean lister is favored slightly but Jordan Radev has an impressive MMA record and might be able to pull off a win.
Roan Carneiro vs Tony DeSouzza
Tony is favored
Mark Brocek vs Doug Evans
Pretty evenly matched, no favor here. We'll see.
So those are the fights coming up on the 29th. Should be a good card, I was a little disappointed with the last card overall so I think this one will redeem that. We will see.
