Okay, I'll admit it. I don't have a fancy degree in marketing or accounting; but I do have a viable solution to the distribution of this huge, unprecedented bail-out plan. It's a win-win for the big man; for the little guy. Since the car industry is asking for their piece of the tax-payer pie why doesn't Congress vote to cut each head of household a $20K voucher used towards the purchase of a vehicle from one of the bail-out companies in question? This money would be used to buy a car, pay off an existing vehicle, or used towards the purchase of a more expensive vehicle of the voucher-owner's choosing. I know there are people who don't need the voucher; but there are more who do. This would be money that would not only jump start the economy but bail out the "people in need" while including the guy on Main Street. This same principle could be used to help the people struggling with their mortgages. For every homeowner in America a stipend of $20K could be used toward paying down their current mortgage or bailing themselves out of an impending foreclosure.
Let's face it. Unfortunately, in this economic downturn that's affecting millions, this so-called bail-out plan has big-business fingerprints all over it. It's good that Ford was sent back to the drawing board to tweak their plan. If Congress gets this before they return; maybe, just maybe there's a little daylight at the end of this spiraling tunnel for the little guy. I can't wait to see how the little guy fairs in all of this. Somehow I'm certain the big guy will be just fine. Somehow I believe his millions are protected in banks across the world. There's a lot of talk about change and hope in the air. There's a lot of talk about the working class losing lots of their pension funds to collapsing money markets. There's got to be a hand in while the hand-out process gets underway. I hope Congress doesn't let its constituents down. Thanksgiving is on the horizon. No matter the economy, America has a lot to give thanks to God for. Christmas lights will shine a little bit brighter if more than a stimulus package to induce spending, citizens will be given an incentive voucher to make a change they can not only see; but, remind them that they are not forgotten.

I say let one of the major car companies go under, because we don't have enough demand for all of the supply. If one went out of business then the other manufactures get their customers and stay in business without a government handout.
