  • For diabetics crossing time zones,please remenber taht on fligth heading East,they day appears shorter and they may need less insulin.On flights heading West the day appears shorter and they may need less insulin.On fligths heading west the day appears longer and they need more insulin.

 

 

  • To make medications And metal control easier through time zone changes do not Change your watch from the local time of your place of origin until the morning after your arrival.

 

 

  • Take at least twice as much insulin as you may require on your trip.insulin does not need refigeration but it must be kept safe from extreme temperature.
