S-E-X Teen girls, can you really afford it?
Young girls who don't have a job; nor at minimum a high-school education, need to ask themselves the very real question of whether or not they can afford the high cost of sex. Though on the surface it's usually given by them for free; the end price usually nets an unwanted pregnancy, further resulting in the astronomical expense, financially and emotionally, of bearing the burden of another human being. Another real benefit of abstinence, aside from peace of mind, relates to statistics that report, every day a woman under thirty loses her life to AIDS. Every day on some high-school campus a girl who's given herself for free, in an act of pseudo-love, has
to pay the price for the shame that comes with involving herself with a guy she trusted; not realizing he'd loosely share their private moment with his football buddies. I believe strongly in Divine Order. Sex outside of marriage has consequences that are never without disappointment and sorrow of some kind. If God created sex specifically for a man and woman, married to each other, doing so outside of these bounds, ultimately, can't add up to a good thing. Feelings only last a second in comparison to the lifetime of negative consequences that result. If you've fallen, reclaim your virginity; and, from this day until your wedding day; whether that's tomorrow or never; light a candle in celebration for every day you don't stumble again. And give thanks to your Creator, from this day forward, for the personal decision to not compromise His Word with satan's lure of making something so wrong, seem right!
