Thank you, it has been helpful. I usually go to Writer's Market and try to go from there. Although, it is true that many people, non writers, think that writing should be almost for free.
The number of times I've been asked to translate for free. Just because is easy for me,shouldn't make it free. People are usually ready to pay $50 for a tennis class and would offer $5.00, yes five dollars, for an article! I enjoyed your article, again thank you. |

I congratulate you for an excellent article! The writers have to care about themselves. They shouldn't lower their prestige. Lauren, could you recommend where should we send our articles where there's a fairly good chance for publishing? Can we send our published articles also to some publishers and expect payment?
