There are a lot of books and guides out there that will teach you how to write articles or essays. It is true that those manuals can teach you the technicalities of writing which is very important. However there is something that can never be taught in guides that I have discovered.

Ever since I started writing creative articles and modesty aside, award winning ones. I was able to deduce things that are common in every article that I have created. Most writers use very technical terms that could not even be understood by common people. Those types are what I call "word-y" writers. They use terms that are hard to understand and may actually crunch your brains. That is not bad at all. The thing is, one major factor is missing.

It may be vague but I will do my best to lay it all down in simple terms. The keyword is heart. You need to write with your mind and with your heart. Every creative article has to have the passion of the writer written all over it. If you write a creative piece, the reader must be able to feel what the author is feeling and therefore be able to grasp the technical and the emotional part of the written piece.

So what is the secret? Write with your heart and mind. Feel the article as if your heart is the one doing all the talking and without a doubt, at the end of the piece, readers will be satisfied. That is how you write an award winning creative article.
