Dragons. You know them, you love them, but don't believe in them. Don't be so quick to judge. Although no skeletons have been found to back up the theory that dragons existed there are still ways that they could have been around and are just eluding us.  First and foremost, you are probably asking, "Oh please. How can you say that something could have existed if it breathed fire?" Well here's how. Now just humor me for a minute. Imagine this. A dragon was maybe just a giant lizard that breathed out Methane. That's right. A gas that can catch on fire. Now imagine a knight in shining armor that goes to slay the evil dragon. He draws his sword, swings, and it hits a rock. Now imagine the sparks from the knights sword igniting the methane the dragon was breathing out and POOF. You have a fire breathing dragon.  Ahh but how could there be giant lizards you ask. Well also a long shot, but what if there were a select few dinosaurs that didn't exactly go extinct when we thought they did. Maybe dragons are the ancestors of those few dinos and that's why we haven't found a skeleton. Maybe they are just so few there aren't that many to be found. There is a good chance that dragons didnt exist, but it seems that they appear in too many different cultures to dismiss them completely. Im not asking you to believe. Just consider.  Its possible, just not probable, and stranger things have happened. : )
