This is great! Thanks, Adam. I love running but have been hesitant to register for a marathon because 1) I'm poor and 2) I'm not that fast. But I can tell from how you describe it that it really is an incentive to train to be your best, and that there's a great feeling meeting up with other runners and competing. You should write more articles! I'd love to hear about your running experience.
