Good job Kalina. Nice details. I'd almost forgot telling anyone some of these things. If the readers want to view the 14 minute film I made recounting this 9 year journey, I have posted it to YouTube:
tp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLGxc3j18ME (It is a little bit campy, portrayed by actors, but the story is still true. I made this as my senior project in Film Studies.) Or visit the website of the movie: http://www.polygamyandme.com/index.html Just a few corrections. Actually, I didn't quit college to marry a polygamist. I had just returned from and LDS mission, at the time. So, it probably just diverted me from going back to college. Also, I began attending the University of Utah in 1999, but graduated in 2002. The city is "Manti" not "Manta". I was married in May of 2006 to a wonderful man (and a monogamist, btw) and we are still very happily married. Meanwhile, I am still working on that science fiction novel, which is taking forever, and also a novel about my life in polygamy. In fact, I got inpatient to finish a book, so I wrote one for the Nanowrimo challenge. It's a science fiction novel called "The Gods of Garran" (and while it has no polygamists, it has a mystical religion). I self published this, just to encourage myself.
