For those who fall into the latter category, or those who simply believe in living a frugal lifestyle, Phoenix is luckily host to many different budget hotels. Choosing the best one, however, can be a bit of a guessing game. Guess no more! Here's a guide to the best budget hotels in the city of Phoenix, Arizona.
-Fairfield Inn-
13440 N Scottsdale Rd
Scottsdale, AZ 85254
Phone: (480) 483-0042
The Phoenix Fairfield Inn, which is a property that is owned by the Marriott Group, and extends all of the standard comforts to its visitors that one would expect from such a well-known chain. While the concept of staying at a cookie-cutter hotel may be a turn-off to some potential visitors, the amenities that the Fairfield Inn of Phoenix offers are rarely found in other "budget" locations. There is a free, tasty continental breakfast, same-day dry cleaning service, and each room comes with its own comfy work area. All in all, then, for those looking to save money, this is a great place to choose.
-Hotel San Carlos-
202 N Central Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85004
Phone: (602) 253-4121
The Hotel San Carlos is a historical Phoenix landmark and dates back to the 1920's. It isn't all that often that you can find a historic location and stay within your budget, but this establishment constitutes one exception to that general rule. Another great feature of the Hotel San Carlos is the fact that it offers many package opportunities that allow you to save money off of your room's rate along with saving money off of various fun activities in the Phoenix area. Beware, though, the discount rates at this seemingly upscale hotel may be due to the fact that it is rumored to be haunted...
-Windmill Inn-
3535 W Chandler Blvd
Chandler, AZ 85226
Phone: (800) 547-4747
The Windmill Inn, which is located at the nearby Chandler Fashion Center, is an affordable Phoenix-area lodging option that manages to add a fair amount of luxury to its offerings. One great aspect of this hotel, at least for non-smokers, is that smoking isn't permitted anywhere on the premises. Likewise, the Windmill Inn offers its guests certain upscale perks like high-speed internet, kitchens, and the choice between a complimentary breakfast delivered to their room or served in a common area. Furthermore, the value of the Windmill Inn is guaranteed - guests who are unhappy with their stay receive their money back.
