You have a lot of powerful emotion to share here, Scott, and it's tough to read such personal revelations. I mean it's good to read them, but this is definitely not like the other lighthearted articles of yours that I read. I understand how you feel, how we are all looking for some hope for our country. But why does that hope have to come from one charismatic person with brilliant turns-of-phrase? The hope I see is in the handmade "O'bama" signs on St. Patrick's Day, the grassroots get-out-the-vote campaigns, and elderly citizens tottering into precint offices to cast their ballots. There will always be bad things happening, friend. But there will also be good. And now I'll shut up.
