- Check out what other successful Hubbers are doing. Make a habit of reading through Hubs that have a high score. 90 or more is a good starting point. Learn to be the best by learning from the best.
- Keep updating your Hubs. If you keep improving your Hubs, the search engines may improve your page rankings, which will result in more visitors to your pages. I notice that after I have updated my pages, traffic increases.
- Link to your HubPages from your other sites or articles. If you have a blog, include links to relevant Hubs.
- Submit your HubPages to search engines.
- Use the Share it! button at the bottom of your HubPage but plan on increasing the number of sites you Bookmark to.
- Consider using a service such as onlywire, which can submit your Hub to multiple sites, after you have signed up with them. By doing so, you capitalize on sites such as Backflip, Blue Dot, Looklater, Magnolia, Markaboo, Rawsugar . . . you get the idea. Onlywire is a free service that enables you to use one Bookmarklet for a number of sites.
- Utilize sites such as linkreferral or getfreetraffic to divert traffic to your Hubs.
- Use keywords in your article title, in sub-headings, and in your articlebody.
- Incorporate your HupPages Feed into your articles. This way, a visitor will see more of your articles (a HubPage Feed can be set up to include 8 articles) and may click on them.
- Place your articles into groups. When you do this, at the bottom of your HubPage, an arrow will conveniently direct readers to your next article.
- Add your HubPages Feed to your blogs. When people visit your blogs, they will see a number of article titles and if something strikes their fancy, they will click to read more. Much cross-clicking is done by people surfing through blogs to kill an hour or two.
- Hyperlink to your other HubPage articles within your HubPage body.
