Linking to other's HubPages is a great way to boost your earnings using the HubPage platform. As I've touched on in previous articles, you earn from AdSense advertisements running on your HubPages and from E-Bay and Amazon product capsules you include in your Hubs.
But linking to other Hubbers' HubPages is also an excellent way to increase your HubPages income. When you link to other pages, you set a revenue stream in motion because you earn a share from the impressions those pages generate. This is a passive income running in the background. It takes seconds to link to other Hubs but the rewards are on-going.
The chart below shows my recent referral activity.
Here is an updated shot of my referral income:So, how do you link to other Hubbers' HubPages? First, you will need to consider where you submit your writing. Do you have blogs or sites where you could include the links?
Second, make sure you are signed into HubPages, then go to the page you want to link to and scroll down to the bottom of the page. You can use the link or the HTML code provided. It will contain your default tracking token. Your token has to be embedded in the link in order for you to receive revenue.
Alternatively, you can create a tracking token, if you want to monitor where your referrals are coming from. HubPages allows you to create up to 20 independent trackers. This is valuable if you want to determine the best linking strategies.
For myself, I just use the default tracker, to save on time. And, as you can see from the chart, this is working well and the money is coming in.
